Lattice. For the first time ever, I think I’m gonna try to explain what my stuff means. I shot this photo on I-5 en route to LA and superimposed the grid onto it in post. In all aspects of our lives, there is a structure or orderliness that must be followed rigorously in order to “fit in” or “not be antisocial…” Even in the middle-of-fuckin-no-where, watching one of the most serene sunsets I’ve ever witnessed whizzing by me at 75 miles per hour, the daily stressors and preoccupations of my life trouble me constantly and bar me from feeling truly at peace with myself, or anything really.
