Sinistine.
Snapped this a few months ago when I daytripped SF with Brian, Sam (http://samuel-chang.com/) and Vik. If you can’t tell, the original photo is a pic of two bums passing and hitting a blunt in broad daylight in front of the tram station at Pier 1. Drugs have really become a commonplace commodity in our society and have implemented themselves as necessities in our economy. To be honest, it’s pretty frightening; marijuana’s now the number one cash crop in America and cocaine is yielding around $85
millionbillion a year, edging out GDPs of entire countries. Just like God breathed life into Adam, drugs are (quite literally) being breathed into the lives of countless of Americans. Oh and happy 420 everyone.

For the first time ever, I think I’m gonna try to explain what my stuff means. I shot this photo on I-5 en route to LA and superimposed the grid onto it in post. In all aspects of our lives, there is a structure or orderliness that must be followed rigorously in order to “fit in” or “not be antisocial…” Even in the middle-of-fuckin-no-where, watching one of the most serene sunsets I’ve ever witnessed whizzing by me at 75 miles per hour, the daily stressors and preoccupations of my life trouble me constantly and bar me from feeling truly at peace with myself, or anything really.
